• Herbed Rice

You can use brown or white rice to make this recipe. Some of the measurements are not exact because in my house we just pour or measure in our hands.


1.5 cups of rice

1 Tbsp Basil Olive Oil or Persian Lime Olive Oil

1 Chicken bullion cube (has plenty of salt)

Small handful of dried chopped Onions

2 Tsp Dried Parsley

2 Tsp Dried Oregano - can substitute Italians Herbs

Ground Proper to taste

1.5 cups of chicken stock

1.5 cups of water




Add all ingredients to rice and liquid and cook according to directions.


My way…

On medium high heat; Add rice and olive oil to pan, stirring often, for about 2 minutes; be careful not to burn. Add all other ingredients and stir. Once it boils; cover and trim heat to low. Let simmer for about 12 minutes for white rice and 45 mins for brown rice.   Enjoy
